Almost 1 month.
Date: September 15, 2025
Can you believe it — you’ve almost been there a whole month! On the opposite side of the world, building a community that already loves you so much. This isn’t cheesy, it’s the truth: you brighten the day of everyone you meet, and it’s no surprise to us how quickly you’ve connected with so many of the girls there.
And “saying yes”? You’re living it — from speaking in front of 3,000 people, to exploring new foods, to meeting more faces than we can keep track of… every moment is filling your days with adventure.
Weird as it may sound, falling asleep to your “good morning” and waking up to your “good night” is becoming a rhythm we love. Maybe it’s because we’re catching each other right in those in-between moments. Your texts, videos, pictures, and voice memos mean so much — thank you for sharing your journey so openly. We feel like we’re right there beside you.
Update from Home Base:
Cameron is all settled at uni — you’ve probably heard from him directly too. Golf remains his sanity break, and he’s already loving his apartment and roommates.
Ava D. has found her groove, and the rest of us are carving out a new rhythm too.
The dogs… well, they’re a little lost without their full crew. Roscoe sticks close, Jack takes up more than his fair share of space, and Harry demands extra attention. We’re making sure they get plenty of cuddles.
Back home: school’s in full swing, evenings are cooler while days hover around 25°C (probably not “hot” by your new standards). The sunsets are a deeper orange, the moon brighter — maybe we’re just noticing more because we’re looking for you in them.
Next up: get ready for a little humour — we’re putting together a video of what you think Mom and Dad are doing… versus the reality.
