We woke up this morning knowing it would already be Christmas Day for you—and imagining you waking up somewhere completely different than home, in a way that only you could make magical.

We love that you chose to take today off and celebrate Christmas in your own way. That feels exactly right for this chapter of your life. Christmas doesn’t have to look the same every year to still be meaningful—it just needs presence, curiosity, and heart. And you bring all three, wherever you go.

Today in Thailand is quieter than you might expect. Christmas isn’t a public holiday, but there are lights, small celebrations, cafés playing familiar music, and people wishing each other joy in gentle ways. It’s a day that blends—local life continuing, with little pockets of warmth and kindness woven in. Kind of like you.

Let yourself be a sponge today.

Soak in the colors, the smells, the sounds, the tiny details you’ll remember forever. Walk slowly. Sit longer than you need to. Notice how the day feels different—and how beautiful that is.

There are so many experiences still ahead of you. And everywhere you go, you leave a quiet, beautiful mark. Your determination, perseverance, and reflection are light-years ahead of your age. Maybe that’s what happens when you compress learning into a year like this—Thailand is 500 years ahead in wisdom, after all.

We want you to know something important:

We are celebrating every holiday with excitement, because next year—you’ll be here. And that makes all of this feel full-circle, not distant.

Cameron said something the other day that made us smile. He said, “Things are actually pretty awesome with our family right now… it’s just missing Ava.”

(Shhh… don’t tell him I told you.)

He misses you more than he lets on—and cannot wait to hang out, laugh, and just be siblings again when you’re home.

And us? We get excited every single time we talk about March. Once passports are finalized, flights get booked. Then it’s real-real. We’re counting the moments until we get to walk beside you in a place you’ve already made your own.
