The leaves have turned every shade of gold, red, and orange — like the trees are showing off just for us. Every step outside sounds like fall… crisp leaves crunching underfoot, that familiar smell of wood smoke in the air. The kind of days that make you want to wrap up in a blanket with a mug of something warm.

Speaking of — do they even have pumpkin spice in Thailand? Have you found a version of it there? I can just picture you introducing your friends to the great North American tradition of “sipping dessert.” Maybe coconut spice is the Thai equivalent?

We spent the weekend outside — four-wheeling, soaking up the last bits of sunshine, pretending we weren’t freezing when the sun went down. The dogs were very happy to share their body heat at night… we didn’t complain. They miss you, though. Harry still walks in your room…wondering if she’ll see your smile.

We wonder often how you’re feeling — if your heart is smiling, if you’re finding those quiet moments of calm in between all the excitement. It’s okay if every day doesn’t feel like an adventure. Life’s best parts often hide in the quiet moments, too.

You’re doing such a beautiful job embracing the world around you — saying yes, meeting (so many) new people, trying new foods (keep sending those photos, they’re little works of art!). You’re living your dream with such grace, and we couldn’t be prouder.

So as the leaves fall here and the air turns cool, just know that you are part of every cozy moment. You’re the warmth in the chill, the sparkle in the season, and always, always in our hearts.
